  • The Pakistan Quaid-E-Azam Awards recognize outstanding achievements in various educational categories. The awards aim to celebrate and encourage excellence among Ontario high school students of Pakistani background.

  • Applications are open to Ontario high school students in Grades 9-12 (September 2023-June 2024).

  • The Apply tab on the navigation bar will lead you to select Academic or Community service awards. To apply, simply complete the application form and include all required supporting documents and evidence of your achievements.

  • Yes, absolutely! We encourage you to apply for both the Academic Award and the Community Service Award if you meet the eligibility criteria.

  • The Academic and Community service awards application deadline is October 4, 2024.

  • There is no fee associated with applying for the QA Awards.

  • Applications are judged based on the academic performance demonstrated by the average marks across all courses taken during the academic year (i.e. Sept 2023-June 2024). Additional consideration may be given to the overall consistency and excellence reflected in the complete transcript.

  • To apply for the Quaid-E-Azam Academic Award, you must have a minimum 80% Avg to submit a complete report card showing all courses taken and marks obtained throughout the academic year. The report card must clearly display your name on every page. If you've just completed your final year of high school, you'll need to provide your entire academic transcript, including all high school credits.

    To apply for the Hasan-Bukhari & Muinuddin Community Service Award, you must submit a resume that includes the following sections: Volunteer Activities, and Extracurricular Activities. For each activity listed, please provide: a description of the activity and your role in it, and a contact person who can verify your participation, including their title and phone number.

  • The winners are announced during an in-person event on October 27, 2024. Each applicant will be reviewed and receive an acceptance package from pak.awards@gmail.com. Please keep an eye on your inboxes and check your spam!

  • All contestants will receive certificates and trophies, the top 3 winners per grade will be awarded a cash prize. Additionally, there will be a formal award ceremony where you, along with two of your family members, will be honoured for your achievements and hard work.

  • Each recipient is welcome to bring up to two guests to the award ceremony. This allows you to share your special moment with your closest family members or friends.

  • The location of the award ceremony will be held at a venue on the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) campus, Kaneff Centre, as we are collaborating with the Pakistani-Punjabi Association (PPA)

  • October 27th, 2024 from 1 PM to 4 PM

  • Yes it is mandatory, all recipients must attend the ceremony to recieve the award!

  • Yes, paid parking will be available on campus.
